Overview
Equip yourself with the mindset, frameworks and practical tools to lead digitally connected teams across hybrid environments. This sprint combines University of Sydney expertise with insights from leaders at Microsoft Australia to help you integrate emerging technologies into your leadership practice whilst fostering trust, visibility and outcome-focused work cultures.
What you'll learn
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Evaluate leadership approaches to hybrid and knowledge work environments, with a focus on outcome orientation.
- Apply principles of effective role design to support clarity, collaboration and flow.
- Assess the use of digital tools and AI in team settings, identifying risks and opportunities to enhance team effectiveness.
- Design a leadership intervention that addresses a real-world team challenge.
Sydney Executive Plus
This sprint is delivered by Sydney Executive Plus in partnership with Microsoft Australia.

Aims
You'll develop strategic approaches to hybrid team design, digital tool implementation and role structuring whilst building resilient, effective teams in environments shaped by rapid technological change.
The sprint includes an applied project where you'll create practical interventions tailored to your own organisational context.

Experienced managers and senior leaders across knowledge work and professional services sectors who are leading teams in complex, fast-paced environments and looking to enhance team performance whilst adapting to contemporary ways of working.
This course will be delivered online via self-paced modules and livestreams over two weeks.
Materials
All course materials are provided electronically. After enrolment, you will receive an email from Sydney Executive Plus with all the instructions you need to access the course materials and communications platforms.
There are no prerequisite requirements to take this course.
We’ve designed the final project to draw on the work you complete in your workbook and throughout the modules and to be completed within a week of finishing the sprint. We want you to be able to complete this work individually, and without interrupting your working week.
The final project will become available halfway through the sprint. The project focuses on your own experience and an organisation you work for or with, so you may find yourself so interested that you want to invest more time working on it!
All courses must be paid in advance of commencing your course. We accept the following payment methods:
