Facilitator profile

Maegan Baker

Dr Maegan Baker is a strategist and researcher specialising in how organisations collaborate across sectors to deliver results—particularly where technology, skills and community outcomes intersect.

She served as Director (Acting), Skills & Education Partnerships at the Western Parkland City Authority, contributing to industry-linked skilling initiatives across Greater Western Sydney. Her PhD at the University of Sydney Business School examined the “temporal work” and emotions that shape long-horizon partnerships, with award-winning work on Indigenous-led collaborations such as the Bundian Way.

Beyond policy and research, Maegan has hands-on leadership experience with Youth Flourish Outdoors, a social enterprise using adventure therapy to engage young people with complex needs—experience that informs her practical approach to team culture, safety and learning in the field. In our sprint, she focuses on partnering disciplines for tech-enabled teams: creating shared language, designing accountability, and pacing delivery so strategy, capability and trust mature together.
