Professor Budiman Minasny has been teaching and conducting research in soil science, spectroscopy, digital agriculture, and environmental modelling since 2005. He holds a PhD in Soil Science and is an internationally recognised expert in digital soil mapping, soil spectroscopy, machine learning, and environmental modelling. Throughout his career, he has led numerous international research projects, published extensively in leading scientific journals, and delivered professional training to researchers and industry practitioners worldwide. Professor Minasny is passionate about translating cutting-edge research into practical solutions and is committed to empowering lifelong learners with the knowledge and skills needed to address global environmental and agricultural challenges.
