Overview

AI Projects for Supply Chain Management builds on the foundations laid in Strategic AI and Data Science for Supply Chain Management and takes participants to the next level from strategy to execution.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven solutions are no longer optional in competitive global supply chains—they are becoming core capabilities. This course provides the practical skills, tools, and project experience required to design and implement AI solutions that deliver real-world impact.

Led by Dr. Jyoti Bhattacharjya and her team of AI and data science experts, participants will gain hands-on exposure to predictive, generative, and agentic AI, supported by state-of-the-art platforms such as Dataiku, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Python.

NOTE: Participants are expected to have completed either Strategic AI and Data Science for Supply Chain Management or equivalent coursework before enrolling in this micro-credential.

What you'll learn

Upon completing this micro-credential, participants will be able to:

  • Build and deploy agentic AI solutions, using no-code and low-code tools to create LLM-driven agents for business operations.
  • Design and deliver predictive AI projects that apply forecasting and optimization techniques in supply chains.

Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies

This micro-credential is led by Dr Jyoti Bhattacharjya from the Institute of Transport of Logistics Studies and supported by GS1 Australia and Dataiku. The course provides procurement and supply chain professionals with hands-on opportunities for implementing agentic and predictive AI projects and applying these experiences towards evaluating and refining existing AI strategies. This course serves as a capstone for Strategic AI and Data Science for Supply Chain Management.

Program Overview

Expected to begin in October 2026, this course runs over approximately 36 hours, consisting of nine (9) modules. Each session is 4 hours.

This course combines live teaching, project-based assessments, and interactive peer discussions. Participants will complete a portfolio of projects, giving them both the confidence and capability to lead AI-driven transformation in their organisations.

Applicants are expected to have completed Strategic AI and Data Science for Supply Chain Management or an equivalent course before enrolling in this course. If you have taken an equivalent course elsewhere, please provide details in the application form. Note that any other AI-related offering from the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies is not suitable as a pre-requisite for this micro-credential.

This course is delivered online with live teaching sessions:

  • 9 sessions, 4-hours each session.
  • Project-based assessments with individual and group components.
  • Hands-on practice with platforms including Dataiku, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Python, alongside no-code AI agent tools.

Upon completion of this course, participants will recieve:
